JSMC celebrates 10th anniversary

The umbrella organisation for the microbiology graduate schools was established in 2007

The Jena School for Microbial Communication was established in 2007 as an umbrella organisation to combine the existing expertise in the training of young scientists in all fields related to microbial communication of the three graduate schools ILRS, IMPRS and RTG "Alteration". Since then, the community of doctoral researchers and established scientists has grown into an interactive and interdisciplinary scientific network that lead to the exploration of many exciting research areas.
