Graduate Academy: Career Evening „PhD – What´s next?“

Doctoral candidates and postdocs will face at some point the question of how to shape their career after the doctoral and in the postdoctoral phase. For career paths outside academia, there is often a lack of ideas and role models. Yet there are plenty of possibilities! This gap is to be closed by the Career Evening "PhD - What´s next?" on 26 November 2019. At this event, natural scientists who work in fields outside academia are going to talk about their current job and how they managed to pursue their individual career paths.

First, an introductory input on career orientation and career development awaits you. Afterwards there is a get-together with drinks and snacks. You will have the opportunity to get in touch with the panel speakers, who made their way into occupations in business and industry, research management and the public sector.
