Host-bacteria interaction: studies in cell culture
This workshop will focuses on studies to understand the interaction of S. aureus and E. coli with endothelial cells. During this course, the participants can perform by themselves the in vitro cell infection model for gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Theoretical explanation about optimal conditions of infected bacteria and cells as well as topics related with the bacterial phenotype will be discussed. The two-days course include will take place at the Institute of Medical Microbiology, UKJ.
