PhD Day 2016
Everything about the doctorate: FSU PhD Day on 27 January 2016
On 27 January, the 4th PhD Day will take place at the Friedrich Schiller University. Doctoral candidates and those who are interested in doctoral programmes have the chance to catch up and exchange information about relevant issues regarding the doctoral work.
The lecture programme offers a diverse range of topics, such as:
- Do I want to do a doctorate?
- How can I finance my PhD?
- How can I improve my teaching skills?
- And how does actually third party research funding work?
In parallel to the presentations, an Infomarkt will be offered as well. There, doctoral students and prospective doctoral candidates can become acquainted with the facilities of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena as well as with the city Jena and its special services. The DR.FSU invites you to a cosy get-together at a Doc-Café with children's corner.
The PhD Day will be held from 12 to 20 o'clock at the Rosensäle (Fürstengraben 27). Further information regarding the place and programme can be found here.
