ILRS doctoral researcher Iuliia Viediernikova has successfully applied for an EMBO Short Term Fellowship. EMBO supports young researchers in the life sciences. Iuliia will use this fellowship to visit the Lab of Thierry Soldati in Geneva, Switzerland, for 2 months this summer. This collaboration will allow her to study the defence mechanisms of the soil amoeba Dictyostelium discoideum against fungal spores.
