Dark clouds did not deter the team of almost 50 running enthusiast from 11 nations from the Leibniz-HKI from starting at the 9. "Jenaer Firmenlauf" (run for charity). Together with 3500 other participants the runners, among them many ILRS doctoral researchers, set off at the Sparkassenarena. The clouds disappeared and after less than 20 minutes, the first runners already reached the finish line. Cheered on by numerous spectators and musical acts along the way, the employees followed the 6 km course along the river Saale.
