November 6, 2018

The publication "Expanding the Rubterolone Family: Intrinsic Reactivity and Directed Diversification of PKS-derived Pyrans" has been highlighted as Frontispiece in Chemistry - European Journal. And it is also featured on the cover page! In this paper, ILRS doctoral researchers René Benndorf, Daniel Leichnitz and ILRS alumna Huijuan Guo in the Junior Research Group of Christine Beemelmanns characterized natural products of the Rubterolone family that were identified in the symbiotic fungus-growing termite ecosystem. Congratulations on this great work!

Here you can see the cover and read the paper.
